Winter Climbing at the Arlberg!

Unique in Tyrol!

St. Anton am Arlberg is the ski touring eldorado in Tyrol! Here you can find the only winter fixed rope route throughout Tyrol, which is 850 metres long and secured by a steel cable. Starting point is the Riffelbahn II mountain station on 2.650 metres altitude - then you cross the Riffelgrat until the "vordere Rendelspitze" and further on to the Rossfallscharte on 2.732 metres altitude. Up there you can enjoy a marvellous view towards the entire Verwall group and the Lechtaler Alps.

At the end of the fixed rope route you will find beautiful skiing downhills - either via the Malfon valley to Pettneu or via the Rossfallalpe and across the Moos valley back to St. Anton am Arlberg!
